Youko was alone again. The last of the Hanabi's had perished. Centuries of waiting, and it finally happened. She should have felt sad. But in truth, she just felt empty. She wandered the ancient courtyard of the lost and forgotten shrine. The town would forget her, too. One day.

Tojimaru Plaza was quiet. It had been nearly one thousand years since the island village was inhabited by the ancient yokai. Time moves on.
A train track was built across the strait. Electricity came soon after. And then...gasoline, phone lines, wireless internet, and cell signal. The small village became a modest town.
But the march of progress woke up the most dangerous yokai on the island. The Goddess of Roses - Youko, the demon fox. The ancient evil is back to reap her mischief: couples are breaking up, spouses cheat, animals turn on their masters, morals degrade, and nature itself is out of balance.
Amusingly, the only ones not affected are the humble Henge. Sweet spirits of curiosity and mischief, native to this land. They alone have the ability to act under the demon fox's gaze. It is up to them to save their home.

Hello, friends! My name is Squish, and today I am looking to host a game of "Golden Sky Stories". Hopefully for a group, but if you have a stellar 1-on-1 idea, I'd be down to hear you out.
Golden Sky Stories is a "Table Talk" Role Playing game. You play as a Henge: an animal with enough spiritual energy to take human form and perform minor miracles. Typically this human form is of a girl. For my own sanity, human forms have to pass the Harkness test. If you know, you know. If not, have I got a YouTube video for you. But you can play any Henge you please from the base forms. For the system itself, you have 4 stats. Instead of rolling dice, you spend a meta currency to temporarily raise your stats or to use your innate Henge powers. I can share more in dms, but the book and game are very "cozy". Low combat, high social interaction. Cute 🥰
The story will be about some local Henge, you, taking on the Herculean task of finding the Demon Fox and getting her to stop this nonsense. Each problem you solve in town will give you a clue to finding her. Each story will give you a chance to meet the locals and learn the history behind the town.
The spice. Ah yes, everyone's favorite bit! For this RP, the focus is on vanilla kinks. Sure, it is great fun to rail a man's wife so hard she breaks. But that would only make the fox demon stronger, no? Not to say you can't get up to taboo or kinky sex, but "vanilla" kinks will be the flavor of the day for this RP.
