The job market is currently abysmal. No matter how many applications put in, it's impossible to get a callback, let alone schedule an interview.

The bills are piling up: the lights were turned off, the water was cut, and rent has been due for three months now. It is the worst time to lose a job.

Times were tough. Luckily, a random website pop-up seemed to be filled with jobs. The pay was... okay, but what was there to lose? Anything would be a benefit at this point and, surprisingly, there were actual callbacks. The only problem is... each job seemed to be more of a pain than the last.

From working as a security guard at an old rundown entertainment restaurant, to working as a babysitter at some strange people's home with a strange set of rules, and even being the counselor at a camp with something stalking through the woods—it was not going to be a fun time... or maybe, it will be?

So, the basic gist of this silly plot is that you take a bunch of odd jobs to work your way out of debt. They pay awfully, but it's all you can land. Each job wouldn't be so bad if you didn't keep running into the worst things possible: ghosts, cryptids, monsters, and mimics.
