Hi all. I had laparoscopic surgery a few months ago, and these two scars on my pubic mound seem to be getting worse. They’ve recently become darker and more noticeable, which I think stands out quite a bit against my blonde bush. I hope they fade.

Sometimes I wish attraction worked like the democracy and if enough people vote that my hips are hot or just okay, my brain should eventually accept the result. Unfortunately, it doesn’t. I grew up when being tiny and almost aggressively skinny was the ideal; then curves like mine briefly became trendy, and now the Oz3mpic era is pushing us back toward thinness again. I know how fucking absurd it is that women’s bodies go in and out of fashion but my brain has been bullied by these standards for so long that knowing better doesn’t always mean feeling better.
