Ten years ago, I decided to share my growing collection of "tufties" - a weirdly specific fetish that was somehow neither mainstream nor properly niche. Tumblr felt like the natural home for it, so I started posting... until the API changes and the infamous adult content purge made any progress pointless.

Needing a new home, I migrated to Reddit. The new sub took off - steady growth, great contributors, tons of followers, and the occasional classic internet troublemaker.

Then I blew it. I accidentally posted a doctored celebrity photo without double-checking it, and got slapped with a ban. Silly mistake on my part, especially for not setting up a second mod first.

I thought that was the end of the line. But almost immediately, nopornat6pm stepped up to keep this weird little corner of the web alive - and it’s still going strong today.
