There are a few things I’m truly proud of. One is my outlook on life. I have bad days and off days just like everyone else, but deep down I always believe things will work out and that this too shall pass.
Another is everything I’ve learned about autism. It’s something very close to my heart because it’s part of my everyday life. I’ve spent years researching, learning, advocating, and making sacrifices to help make my children’s lives easier. Even on the hardest days, I don’t regret a thing. Autism has helped shape me into the strong, capable person I am today. It taught me to speak my truth, stand up for what matters, and stop accepting anyone’s nonsense.
And to everyone in this MADHOUSE: I hope you know you are appreciated and loved. It takes courage to share pieces of ourselves, especially in vulnerable and intimate ways. That’s why I try to remind people they matter. Not because I want recognition, but because I want you to know that I see you. I see you showing up, fighting your battles, and doing the best you can.
