This game has set the bar so high.

Yes, I’ve finished the latest update, and now my expectations are even higher. I know Caribdis will never disappoint us. The bar this game has set is on a whole different level. With all due respect, I can’t even get interested in other AVNs anymore because they don’t come close to Eternum. 😭 HELPP!!!

We know that Orion’s power is directly affected by Calypso, which leads to a theory that Orion and Calypso were connected in the past. They may have been lovers once, or perhaps shared some other significant relationship.🤔

Break The Chain!!!!

I’m playing Eternum for the second time, and I just discovered that if you play the instrument using any tune of your own for two or more minutes and then press the stop button, you get to see that mini nightmare (or whatever we should call it) again, where Idriel says, ‘Break the Chain.’

I know many of you probably already knew this and maybe it’s not a big deal for y’all, but damn… I only discovered it during my second playthrough!!

I think he’s Thanatos

Thanatos is the strongest player in the game so far (although he has now become an NPC). He appears to be someone who is also fighting against the Founder and Ulysses. The mysterious person in this scene seemed to know some secrets about the Founder, and I think that person was none other than Thanatos, who wanted to talk to the MC.

The MC thought that Thanatos wouldn’t attend the party, but lol, nothing ever goes the way the MC expects. He’s definitely not a very good predictor.

So is Idriel the queen Anima?

In the Wild West server arc, Calypso dropped a massive piece of history about her ancient elven ancestor, Queen Anima, who was overthrown, enchained, and used as a tool by a ruthless king. That reminds me of Idriel’s avatar in the Nexus was physically bound by chains.

Idriel is likely Queen Anima. The "Ruthless King" who chained her is The Founder. He stole her dimension-hopping powers to create Eternum, enslaving her soul into the game's code to act as the server guide.

She needs Orion to physically break her out. She also wanted him to find and save Calypso.
