Has anyone visited Dr.Goldstein?

I’ve seen that he operates in San Diego. He has had an interview with a female urologist, and he sounded like he really knows what he’s doing with the condition. He said he loves helping these patients. Is it worth making a trip out there?

Is this permanent

I’ve had it for two months. Contraction, no longer hangs loose, and is hard when flaccid. Is this permanent? I haven’t given my penis a break from masturbation, but I’m on day 2 of nofap. Is my penis gonna be hard when flaccid for the rest of my life? Does this just not go away? Also, is this permanent nerve damage ?

indent at the left side of base?

does anyone have an indent on the left side of the base? it seems like my penis is thinner there. do you guys have any idea what could this be? my symptoms are burning in the right buttocks, a feeling like something is between the area of my anus and scrotum, and decreased sensation or numbness. also the classical hardness when flaccid. i guess my second question is, can any of this just be temporary due to compulsively masturbating? or once i have these symptoms its chronic hard flaccid syndrome. can any of this crap go away with just rest? im assuming the numbness may be due to over masturbating, but my indent is new, and im just so scared. this is truly affecting my life.

ED as non negotiable symptom?

I’ve been told by two urologists that hard flaccid syndrome is accompanied by ED, where the penis is “stuck” between two states, where in the flaccid state u can’t really make it grow, yet can’t get it to soften completely either. Do you guys think this is true? If I have no ED, but my penis is woody when flaccid, is this hard flaccid ?

How to assess if you have numbness in glans

What does numbness in the glans feel like? When I touch my glans with cold fingers, I definitely feel it. However I feel it more in the shaft when I touch the shaft with my fingers. Also, I believe the glans are supposed to be very sensitive. If I run the glans with my fingers, creating friction, it’s not that uncomfortable. Also, I can feel cold water on my shaft moreso than on my glans

Can hardness when flaccid be temporary irritation, rather than full blown hard flaccid syndrome?

If you’re missing the constellation of symptoms that presents with hard flaccid, would it be reasonable that your pelvic floor is just overworked and needs rest? My penis has been hard when flaccid for like a week and a half but I’ve kept masturbating and provoking it every day. AI says it’s possible to be temporary guarding from pelvic muscle tension, but without it being full blown hard flaccid that is chronic even if u leave it alone. Has anyone left their penis alone for a few weeks and saw it go back to soft? I’m scared. I do have pain, mostly at the base, the penis curves when flaccid, but no reason urinary issues or perineal pain or coldness or numbness. Penis gets fully hard with masturbation. My urologists told me I have a bucks fascia soft tissue injury, but I kept provoking it after the last visit with them, and now it’s hard when flaccid, however the most rest I’ve given it has been 3 days. It is sensitive tho, like when I sleep on my stomach, if I put some pressure on it, it kinda hurts and I’ll have to move. Penis just feels sore, contracted, and woody. I exercised the other day and it almost sunk into my body lol. What do I make of this. Is this real hard flaccid?

Has anyone had woodiness without it being hard flaccid?

Is it possible to have compulsively masturbated, have fluctuating woodiness in the penis for like a week, and maybe it just goes back to normal? Or once you start having some woodiness, boom you have hard flaccid? ChatGPT said temporary irritation is possible, where the penis just goes back to normal. I don’t really have all the constellation of symptoms that come with HF, besides just some pain and discomfort in the penis, and woodiness. It get a lot better when laying down. The thing is, I haven’t given my penis more than 3 days of rest before I masturbate, and I masturbate 3+ times a day

Symptoms

I’m sorry to ask whether or not I have hard flaccid. But for those with true hard flaccid, how much of the day is your penis actually hard when flaccid, and retracted. Does it have to be all day? Mine isn’t like this all day. So idk how to assess. There are times when it contracts and it’s hard, but I asked ChatGPT and it said when you masturbate a lot and irritate it, this is just temporary benign pelvic floor response. As long as it’s not hard and retracted all day, it’s normal. My penis is pretty much very soft when I lay down. So idk

For those of you with HF and you have pain, where is your pain located?

Basically asking where your pain is located. Mine is at the base, however my doctor thinks I have either a bucks fascia soft tissue strain, or a partial suspensory ligament strain. They don’t think I have HF bc I don’t have all the other symptoms that come with HF.

Need to know what’s going on

Basically a year ago, I was masturbating many times a day, by pushing a finger into my flaccid penis against my thigh, generating pressure. I had stinging sharp pain what felt like nerve pain, then I had noticed my flaccid penis was curving a lot to the right. Pain mainly stayed for a year, localized at the base of the penis, sometimes rarely fluctuating to the left side, with some sharp pains very rarely. Penis when erect is straight. I get morning wood. When masturbating, I’ve always had a full erection. The only lasting remaining thing is the curvature to the right when penis is flaccid. Both of my urologists both think it’s definitely not peyronies bc penis is straight when erect. And they also both think it’s not HF bc I can still get erections. Sometimes my penis contracts and is small and a little harder, but I’ve been told by many online sources that the penis fluctuates a lot, for example when ur cold, so its normal. What I want to know is if anyone has a similar experience. And also, what does true hard flaccid entail? Like what are exactly your symptoms? Cause my penis isn’t cold/retracted/small and hard at all times. The retraction and hardness happens only sometimes, which I feel happens to everybody. MRI came back clean too

Main symptoms of HF?

My urologist told me that he doubts I have HF bc my penis is not contracted and hard at all times of the day, and bc I still get normal healthy erections. Is this accurate? Those who have been told by a urologist they have HF, is erectile dysfunction basically a requirement for HF?
