Can you imagine if Queen’s Blade followed the storytelling formula of that show? Like Werbellia does the same thing Skeletor does were every episode each week, she’s all:
Werbellia - “Finally! With the power of (Insert artifact here), I will finally conquer Gainos and become its ruler once and for all! OOHOHOHO!!!”
Then comes in Leina with her group of friends being all:
Leina - “Not so fast Werbellia! Your evil plot won’t succeed not when I’m around.”
Then Leina’s group and Werbellia’s group get into a fight, resulting in Leina winning as per the usual hero vs villain story. And Werbellia always retreats back to her lair. With Melona, Menace, and Airi bowing in fear as Werbellia yells at them:
Werbellia - “IDIOTS! All of you! How could you lose to those blasted do-gooders!?”
After the trio apologizes and begs forgiveness, Werbellia does what Skeletor would do. Take her leave to plan her next evil plan. But not before subjecting her minions to punishment for failing to defeat Leina and her friends. And since this is Queen’s Blade, the punishments are always something lewd and depraving. Like say locking them in a room to keep a pet tentacle monster company lol.
Like how in the Sword of the Unicorn novel, the sword in it’s dormant state… Looks like a dildo.
Or how in the Rebellion anime, Luna Luna opened the ancient ruins door by touching all of it’s key points. With the final point requiring her to stick something “long and hard” inside.
