So if you encountered my posts a few weeks ago you know the story, I'm a wizard, I encountered a fox thing possible fae in the forest, I got eaten I lost my amulet and I failed at getting it back.

The thing is I did go again and they would give back my amulet in exchange for my phylactery. Now I don't wanna give them my phylactery obviously so after I got home (by means of phylactery if you get what I mean) I decided to call upon you.

I need a volunteer that I will make a phylactery of their own that I will trade for my amulet.

Pros: you became basically immortal and you can go on to do whatever you want

Cons: your new home is somewhere in the depths of the forest with a fox fae thingy that might eat you from time to time or do weird fae things to you

Who's volunteering?

For the context I'm a wizard, I ran into a fox possibly fae thing, they ate me and took my amulet (probably thinking is my phylactery) (it wasn't) and now I need to deliver a spell to the council that was engraved in it, for more context go to the original post I made.

Someone recommended that I go in with some clones so I made a few clones ahead of time and went to the place of the incident. No one was there so to cover the most terrain I split my clones up and started searching. I, the original ran into the fox thing and I couldn't cast because they have an anti magic field or something. Guess what happened next. Take a wild guess.

Anyways I'm a few days later home at my phylactery place and I still need help getting that amulet back, and if you're gonna propose something that sounds like it could go wrong in any way you come with me. Or at least tell me how do I explain something like this to the council because they surely won't believe

I'm a wizard, I was walking through the forest when this fox person (who I'm pretty sure was a Fae) appears from nowhere and is like "oh, are you lost? I'm gonna show you a way" I tell them I'm not lost but they keep blocking my way and keep asking me questions.

After a few minutes of this they say "good conversation, don't get the occasion too often, now let me show you the way" I tell them once again I'm not lost and then they say "I'm gonna eat you" I'm like what?

Then they cast something on me that makes it so I can't move and fall to the ground and then grab me by the feet, the actual process was strange and done through some form of space warping, it wasn't shrinking but considering the size it wasn't what you would expect either, it was more of seamless sliding. And halfway through I'm saying "jokes on you, I have a phylactery", they then notice and snatch my amulet and finish the job.

Of course that wasn't the phylactery, I'm not that stupid. Fast forward a few days later I respawn at home and the problem is that that goober still has my amulet and I want it back, a spell I was working on is engraved in it.

How do I get my amulet back, preferably without being eaten again (I don't mind if I really have to), And how do I explain the council how I lost it?
