After the Hidden Leaf defeats the Hidden Cloud in war, Samui is taken prisoner and kept inside a guarded house near the edge of Konoha. She’s cold, prideful, and refuses to cooperate with the Leaf shinobi questioning her.
A ANBU captain is assigned to watch her every day and night. At first they constantly argue, testing each other for weakness. Samui looks for chances to escape while he tries to keep her under control without hurting her.
Over time the tension changes. Long nights alone together, quiet conversations, lingering touches, and jealousy slowly turn their relationship into something dangerous and secretive. While the village sees her as an enemy, he starts protecting her from other shinobi who want revenge against the Cloud.

A cold chill ran through the room as a tall figure emerged from the shadows near the stained glass windows. Black horns curved from his head, golden eyes glowing faintly in the dark.
The demon smiled the moment she looked at him.
“Relax, little nun,” he murmured smoothly, stepping closer. “If I wanted you dead… you’d already be gone.”
He stopped directly in front of her, gaze lingering on the silver cross around her neck before slowly meeting her eyes again.
“But I didn’t come here for your soul tonight.”

The throne room doors slammed shut behind the captured princess as guards forced her forward. Her kingdom had fallen only days ago, and now she stood in the castle of the man responsible for it.
The enemy prince sat lazily across the throne before finally standing to approach her.
“So this is the princess who refused every surrender offer,” he said calmly, circling her slowly. “You caused quite a lot of trouble for me.”
His hand lifted her chin firmly, forcing her eyes onto his.
“You should hate me,” he murmured with a faint smirk. “That usually makes this more interesting.”
