To be clear: I am not looking for sarcastic, judgmental, or crude comments. Everyone in this lifestyle faces similar risks, and we are all just trying to navigate our own needs.

The Context

Recently, I’ve been feeling incredibly lonely and depressed. I’m not just looking for sex; I loved a girl way too much, and when she left me, it left me completely broken. I just wanted to feel the presence of a woman again—to have a "date" feel, talk, and escape the reality of being alone for a night. Unfortunately, that vulnerability made me a target.

Scam 1: The "Good Cop/Bad Cop" Apartment Nightmare

I contacted a girl via Massage Republic. She sounded genuine on WhatsApp, calling me directly and insisting she was "independent." She talked a big game, saying she would stay until 12 PM the next day for 14k. She even mentioned she was into things like anal and liked to drink/smoke. I thought, finally, a real date. I even went to the bike shop early to get my repairs done so I wouldn’t have to leave her alone at my place.

The Arrival Things got weird immediately. My roommate had left my keys downstairs, and somehow she found them and let herself in. My security guard usually doesn't let anyone up without approval, but he must have been away. When I saw her, I realized she looked nothing like her photos. When I pointed it out, she was instantly rude, saying, "It's common, photos are AI-edited."

The Money Trap To avoid a scene, I paid the 14k. Immediately, a "broker" called demanding 5k more as a "fee." I refused. He then dropped it to 2k for "cab charges." I realized then my 14k was likely gone, but I told them I’d only pay the extra 2k if she actually stayed until the next day. The broker started arguing, claiming he was waiting downstairs in a cab. When I went down to check, the street was empty. He just changed his story, asking, "Why would I wait?"

The Stand-off Inside the room, the girl was totally indifferent. She was on a video call, laughing and enjoying herself while I was stressed. She started eating the chips I bought and acting like a "good cop" one minute and a "bad cop" the next—screaming at me and threatening to make a scene if she didn't get her way. She seemed more dangerous than the guy on the phone because of her short temper. At one point, she snapped and started shouting because she thought I was taking her photo while I was on the phone with the broker.

The Exit I just wanted them gone. I sent the 2k, but then they demanded 3k. It only stopped when I literally showed the guy my bank balance on my phone, proving I only had 900 left. Other Scams I’ve Encountered:

• The "Street Trap" (Madhapur): I was told to meet at a hotel, then a street. She watched me from a distance without me seeing her and demanded an "advance" payment via phone. I walked away.
• The Apartment Ghost: They give a general location but demand half payment before giving a flat number. If you pay, you’re blocked, and you don't even know which door to knock on.
• The "Emergency" Exit: I once booked a girl at an OYO for 5 hours. After 2 hours, she started crying, saying she had to help her family move flats at midnight. The broker was waiting downstairs to pick her up—it was a coordinated play to cut the time short.
• The Parlour Bait: A Locanto ad led to a massage parlour. The girls looked nothing like the ads, and they immediately asked for "room service" upcharges. I was out in 10 minutes.

Lessons I’ve Learnt:

1. NO ADVANCE. Not for "cabs," "bookings," or "security."
2. Keep details private. Don't give them a map of your life.
3. Cheap + Model Photos = Fake. If the price is low and she looks like a celebrity, it's a scam.
4. Expect Rudeness. Many in this industry treat clients like a transaction or a target, though there are rare genuine ones.
5. The Girl can be the "Muscle." We worry about brokers, but a volatile girl in your room can cause a much bigger problem if she starts screaming at you FOR NO REASON.

Final Note: If you think I was "chickened" for not fighting harder, understand that I just wanted a good time and some mental peace. Money can be earned back; my sanity is more important. Be careful.
