SA gone wrong.
I had an SA with an SB. We chatted on Reddit, then moved to Telegram. Later, after some time, she sent me a message from another Telegram account, which she said was her personal one. I only saw a photo of her in which her face was hidden. I then sent her a Nykaa gift card (₹8k) as she requested. I was naive and felt that she was genuine.
Our virtual SA started, and I thought there would be someone I could talk to and share with, as I could see she was offering a girlfriend experience. It was okay overall. Since I live in the US and she is in India, the time zone difference was a bit of a constraint, but I at least thought we could talk whenever we were both available.
All I knew was her name and the city she lived in. But whenever I started asking about personal things, she would say, That's personal and I can't share it. I understand about her face, full name, or address that's fine. However, she wanted to get some lingerie and asked me to send money via UPI, for which she gave me her friend's UPI ID rather than her own. I tried to send it, but the payment didn't go through. I later told her I could send a gift card instead, but she insisted she would get it anyway and asked me to send a gift card for something else which I did (a 2nd gift card of ₹12k).
Then reality kicked in. Whenever I asked her for a call, she said she was busy with work as she is a doctor. One day she took a day off from work and did call me it was our first call after 4 days into the arrangement. But she hung up after 10 minutes, saying she'd call back in a minute, and that minute never came. I told her exactly what I was expecting from the arrangement, and she agreed to it.
She kept saying she was super busy with work, life, and everything. I don't understand if people are that busy, why would they enter an SA in the first place? Yesterday, I asked her for a call and she said she was hosting friends and couldn't talk, which I was okay with. But today when I asked again, she said, Why do we need a call? We're fine texting. That isn't how it's supposed to work. I could see her being active on Reddit commenting on posts, reading threads but wasn't she supposed to deliver what she promised?
I pushed back and asked her why she was behaving that way, and she called me annoying and irritating, then ended the arrangement.
Looking back, I may have been slow to realize what was happening, but I'm glad I at least dodged a bullet.
I'm not sure exactly what went wrong. Since this was my first SA, I didn't have much experience handling things the right way. But I feel like I at least tried.
