The long war was finally over and with each day became more a part of the past, fading deeper to the back of people's minds. Peacetime had been good to all, the people of the Four Nations found themselves returning to totally normal lives, without the constant fear of war and the drain on people that it created, the world soon flourished, prosperity and happiness overtook the relief of peace as the new normalcy.

Republic City stood as the testament of this. Peaceful, united and prosperous. The world now truly existed in a golden age.

The couple landed on the bed with a thud, their kiss not breaking. Sasuke's hands roamed Naruko's body, never finding one single place to rest, instead they made their way up and down her sides, groping, rubbing and squeezing.
