Lord Alric toyed with the collar of his robes, the silken fabric draped firmly around his figure. The crimson reds and midnight blacks meshed together perfectly, and he knew he turned heads as any ruler should. Yet nothing seemed to ease his mind, as he couldn’t help but notice the Oni staring at him from across the great hall. He knew her, hell everyone in here knew her. Her family had always held power and vast amounts of wealth, and its matriarch was staring right at him. She was young by their standards, only a few hundred years old, while he was barely twenty five.
He didn’t have a partner, he hadn’t in quite some time. Ever since his father died and left him ruling the family realm, the busy task of leading had taken his time. He knew not why she stared at him, the way her gleaming yellow eyes pierced through his very soul. He tried to focus on his meal and the chatter of dozens of lords and ladies around him, all sorts of magical creatures, humans, and other spirits lived together in this world, and members of dozens of them surrounded them. He simply hoped she’d find someone else to talk to, though his heart sank when he looked up to find her walking towards him.
She crossed the room much faster than he would’ve liked, giving him little time to find an escape into the crowd. Suddenly her hand appeared in front of his face, with the simple words flowing like honey from her lips. “Might I have a dance Lord?”

Hey! So I had an idea for a long term roleplay set within some sort of magical fantasy world. All sorts of magical creatures and fantastical things live here, so I feel it would be so fun for an Oni (you) crushes on a simple human lord! (Me!) I feel this dynamic could make for some really fun and awkward moments between them, as they slowly fall for each other! Maybe others don’t approve of their relationship, who knows what sort of antics we’ll get up to along the way?
As for the usuals, I do prefer discord but Reddit works too! I am looking for literate writers only. Those who enjoy plenty of smut, but also plenty of world building and story! I don’t really mind if we use third or first person, we can discuss that together!
