Campaign Stage Resource Efficiency (Worlds 9-16) | Gold, EXP, Oil, Cognitive Chips & Augment Stones Reference - July 2026

Repost: Sorry for the repost. I found and corrected some inaccuracies from the previous version, so I decided it was worth updating the guide to ensure the information is as accurate as possible.

Hello everyone!

I created a Campaign Stage Resource Efficiency reference for Worlds 9-16 under Clearing Mode with Fleet Oil Cap fully enabled. This reference aims to provide a centralized comparison of campaign stages for players who want to optimize farming efficiency.

Included Data

Stage Resource Efficiency Table (Worlds 9–16)

The table includes:

  • Stage number
  • Mob level
  • Boss level
  • Boss armor type
  • Total battles required for a full map run (after unlocking clearing mode)
  • Oil Cap
  • Approximate stage Gold
  • Gold per Oil
  • Approximate Base EXP
  • EXP per Oil

Stage Efficiency & Performance Summary

A quick overview highlighting the best-performing stages for:

  • Gold efficiency
  • EXP efficiency
  • Oil usage
  • Endgame resource farming

Methodology & Notes

Includes:

  • Calculation formulas
  • Standardized assumptions
  • Data sources and limitations
  • Abbreviations used
  • Explanation of projections

Worlds 14–16 Data Disclaimer

Due to the increased difficulty of Worlds 14–16, obtaining accurate direct EXP measurements is currently difficult. These stages are rarely farmed with ships that have not yet reached the level/EXP cap, making reliable empirical testing challenging.

Therefore, the values shown for Worlds 14–16 are mathematical projections, extrapolated from the progression trends observed in Worlds 9–13.

The complete methodology and assumptions are included in the reference document for transparency.

If anyone in the community is willing to collect verified EXP data from these stages, I would be happy to compare the results and update the reference accordingly.

PSA: Minimum Campaign Stages for Cognitive Chips (Level Cap Increase to 120) & Augment Module Stones

For players planning their endgame farming routes:

Cognitive Chips + mainly T1 (Blue)/some T2 (Purple) Augment Module Stones
Recommended minimum: 12-1

Cognitive Chips + mainly T2 (Purple)/some T3 (Gold) Augment Module Stones
Recommended minimum: 14-1

I hope this reference helps players optimize their coin farming, EXP farming, and overall Oil efficiency.

Feedback, corrections, additional data, or suggestions are always welcome. Thanks to everyone who contributes information and helps improve these resources! And once again, sorry for the repost. The corrections were important enough to justify updating the guide.

About Valparaiso

Hey everyone,

I was looking into the lore and design of the Tier IX Pan-American battleship Valparaíso and something clicked that completely surprised me.

For those who don't know the history or haven't looked closely at the model: Valparaíso is literally a hypothetical Cold War retrofit of the actual HMS Vanguard.

Here are a few crazy details and trivia about how this ship came to be:

The Ultimate "What-If" Upgrade: In real history, HMS Vanguard (the last British battleship ever built) was completed in 1946 and decommissioned/scrapped in 1960. The lore behind Valparaíso is that Chile buys the actual Vanguard from the UK in the 1950s instead of letting her go to the scrapyard.

The Anglo-American Fusion: Once in South America, Chile gives her a massive refit. They kept the iconic British hull and the main 381mm (15-inch) guns, but completely stripped out the British secondary and AA guns. Instead, they slapped on high-tech US Navy gear: 127mm/54 Mk.16 secondary turrets (the ones from the Midway-class carriers) and 3-inch/50 Mk.33 AA guns.

Tier VIII to Tier IX: This tech swap is the exact reason why Vanguard sits at Tier VIII in the British tree, but Valparaíso jumps up to Tier IX. It’s the ultimate expression of a post-WWII battleship being dragged into the missile era with American firepower.

Historical Irony: There is a cool historical nod here. Real-world Chile actually ordered a massive dreadnought battleship from the UK back in 1911. Its original intended name? Valparaíso. However, it was renamed Almirante Latorre before completion, bought by the Royal Navy during WWI (as HMS Canada), and finally returned to Chile later. So, the name Valparaíso coming back as a former British ship is a beautiful full-circle Easter egg by Wargaming.

Honestly, I love this kind of historical fiction. It takes the absolute pinnacle of British battleship aesthetics and gives it the ultimate American weapon system overhaul.

What do you guys think of her performance compared to the standard Tier VIII Vanguard? Does the retrofit do her justice?
