[M4a] It Just Makes Sense
This is just a random set up mostly to fill out post length but does get the idea across hopefully.
When he was young Darren learned he had a very unique power. One that had an effect on everyone around him. The first time this manifested was when he got mad at another kid in school and started a fight. When it was over his teacher didn’t even scold him, didn’t even seem to know what happened right in front of her. The next time the power showed itself was when, on a whim he hopped in the car with someone at the store and the person didn’t react in the slightest.
A few year later and the effects of having such a power was showing in how it was corrupting him. He’d often simply take whatever he wanted from whoever he wanted. Grabbing money from a passerby here, walking out of a store with a new tv there. It was inevitable really that he’d fall deeper into the freedom this power gives him.
Here’s a few ideas I have for scenes, feel free to bring your own or we can brainstorm together.
Walking past a church when there’s a wedding about to take place. He decides to give the happy couple a special gift.
While getting a few groceries a woman catches his eye. Judging from what she’s getting she was picking up stuff for her family… they probably won’t mind if she’s late right?
I’d love to play out different encounters. Feel free to pitch any ideas you may have and we can see what we come up with.
