Ruins and Arches 🏰 Hadleigh Castle

Ruins and Arches 🏰 Hadleigh Castle

Perched high on a hillside overlooking the Thames Estuary, Hadleigh Castle was built in the 1200s and later became a heavily fortified retreat for King Edward III. 👑 Today, these grand, crumbling towers are the ultimate romantic ruin.

The raw, fractured stone and ancient masonry here have the most incredible, gritty texture. I couldn’t resist shedding my shoes to feel the rough history under my soles while the wild estuary wind whipped around me. It feels so liberating to be completely grounded on these historic slopes. 🌿👣

These massive stone towers have been slowly splitting apart for centuries, but I think my arches are holding up perfectly. 😉 Want to come sit on the hillside and watch the ruins crumble with me? 👇

The birthplace of Dracula

Did you know that Whitby Abbey is the literal birthplace of Dracula? 🧛‍♂️ It was right here, standing among these monumental, wind-swept Gothic ruins, that Bram Stoker was inspired to write his famous horror story.

There is a delicious, heavy kind of darkness that hangs in the air when the North Sea wind hits your skin. Slipped my shoes off to feel the freezing, ancient stones where the legend was born and honestly, my soles have never felt so alive. 🖤👣

They say Dracula was a creature of the night, but I’m definitely a creature of the arches. 😉 My toes are absolutely freezing after this shoot, though... any volunteers to help me warm them up? 🔥👇

Ruins and Arches 🖤✨ Kirkham Priory

FYI The first 50 followers will get a private DM with my first ever nude photo including my feet 😊 Cum follow me!

In the 1300s, the Great Gatehouse here was built to show off wealth and status. Today, I’m showing off something a little different on these old monastery stones. 🤫👣

There's something incredibly thrilling about shedding my shoes and pressing my soles against centuries of dark history. Showing you the arches below while I explore the ruins above. Do you like the view from down there? 😉

If you were here, would you be looking at the architecture or my feet? Let me know... 👇

Too hot, too tired, send help!

The UK heatwave is officially winning today. ☀️🥵

I’m supposed to be scouting out my next deep, dark history spot, but I’m far too cozy under here. The only things exploring right now are my feet poking out to catch a breeze. 👣💤

I need some serious inspiration to get out of bed and into the ruins. Anyone volunteering to come rub my feet and help me wake up for our next adventure? 😉👇

Grounded in History

Hi everyone! 👋

I’ve been a lurker in the foot communities for a while now, and I’ve always wanted to build up the courage to share mine. I’ve always thought my feet and arches were pretty cute, but I was always too shy to actually jump into the community.

I finally decided to take the plunge and do my first couple of photo shoots! To help me stand out, I wanted to combine sharing my feet with my other massive passion: deep, dark history and exploring old ruins.

My concept is called Ruins and Arches. 👣🏰

It’s a play on words, showing off my arches on the ground, framed by the beautiful, ancient architectural arches of the UK's crumbling castles and old manor houses. I love the feeling of being completely barefoot, shedding my shoes, and feeling the cold stone and damp earth where centuries of history actually happened. It’s playful, a little bit flirty, and totally grounded.

For my first shoot, I went to Kirkham Priory in North Yorkshire, UK. Walking barefoot through the grass and the old stone cloister walls felt amazing.

(I've attached one of my favourite close-up shots of my feet from the shoot!)

Since I'm brand new to this and incredibly nervous, I would love to get your honest feedback:

  1. How do my feet look for a first attempt? Be honest, do you think people in the community will like them?
  2. Photography tips? I want to make sure my feet are the star of the show while still capturing that cool, historic background. Any advice on the best angles, lighting, or poses to really highlight my arches?
  3. Where should I go next? If you love outdoor/barefoot content, what kind of textures or historic UK spots would you want to see my feet on next?

I'd love any tips, tricks, or words of encouragement you guys can give to help guide a newcomer. Thanks so much for looking! 🩵
