Surgery Day (Day 0)
(Include surgery day photo)
Arrived at 11:30 AM and was done around 3:00 PM.
The surgery felt a little longer than I expected, but I was drifting in and out of sleep most of the time.
I had zero pain during the procedure. I literally didn't feel anything—not even the numbing injections. I don't know if my surgeon is just a queen, but she did an amazing job.
On the way home we even stopped at Costco. I stayed in the car and got some ice cream. Walking wasn't difficult at all—I mostly just felt a little off balance because I was still pretty drugged up.
Around 11:00 PM I started feeling some discomfort, maybe 2/10 pain.
I woke up around 4:40 AM with more noticeable pain, about 6/10, so I got more ice and took another pain pill.

Day 1
(Include photo)
Woke up around 8:30 AM (besides waking up at 4:40 AM from the pain).
Honestly, I still wasn't in much pain. The swelling, however, was definitely more noticeable.
I've just been taking my medications as prescribed.
I've gone to the bathroom several times with no issues. I even had a bowel movement this morning, which I was honestly nervous about.
Definitely very swollen today, as you can see in the picture.
Most of today my pain has only been around 2/10, if that. Honestly, I've been more bored than anything lol.

Day 2
I slept okay last night. I have insomnia even before surgery, so my sleep wasn't perfect, but it wasn't because of pain.
I made sure to take a pain pill before bed, but honestly I don't even feel like I need the pain medication that much.
It honestly looks way worse than it feels. Without pain meds I'd probably still only be around 2/10 pain.
The biggest annoyance has been making sure the stitches don't get caught on my panty liner.
I made the mistake of going to Target with my boyfriend because I really needed to get out of the house. I forgot to take my pain meds beforehand, and even walking really slowly became uncomfortable.
By the time I got home I was much more swollen and inflamed.
Definitely take it easy, even if you feel okay. I felt much more pressure and discomfort that evening after overdoing it.

Day 3
Today has definitely been my most uncomfortable day so far.
I don't know if it's because I walked around more yesterday, but I've had more discomfort today.
I still went to watch a game, but I sat for most of it.
It also feels like a few of my stitches may have already dissolved or come out.
The itching has started... and wow, it's annoying.
I started taking fluconazole as a precaution because I'm really prone to yeast infections, and I wasn't sure if the itching was just healing or something else.

Day 4
I definitely felt more pain today.
I mostly stayed home and only made a quick grocery store trip, but even that caused discomfort.
It feels like my clitoris is really exposed, and I think that's what's causing most of the discomfort. Everywhere else actually feels okay.

Day 5
I'm still dealing with that same clitoral discomfort today.
While cleaning the area and applying ointment, I noticed a stitch that looked like it might be rubbing directly against my clitoris, so I'm wondering if that's what's irritating it.
I started taking fluconazole a few days ago since I'm very prone to yeast infections and wanted to prevent one during recovery.
Other than that, I honestly slept for most of the day.
