Just looking to make a friend or two
I am a 40 year old woman (I am black if that's important) looking to make a couple new friends. It's harder to make new friends and connections as we get older so I am giving it a try here.
I am looking for someone to just hangout with, do outings together to share common interests. Money is tight for most people these days, so just meeting up to talk is OK as well. Human connection is important.
I would like a trail hiking buddy maybe. Local parks and trails. Talking, exercise, just have a conversation and get some fresh air.
I'm not into clubbing or bars really, but open to getting a bite together or a drink sometimes. I like to go bowling. I am not good at it, but I enjoy it. I like to read horror/suspense, thriller novels. Stephen King is a favorite but have branched out to other authors in recent years.
I don't have kids, so if your outings are primarily kid focused, I am probably not a good match for you.
Gas prices are high so would like someone close by in the North St. Louis County area.
I am open to women or men. I would prefer someone close to my age.
I feel the need to include I am not OK with talking about politics. I don't want the drama or potential arguments.
