I've been liberal as long as I can remember. I still am, and still plan to vote blue in the midterms. However, I live in a primarily red state, and the democratic primaries were uncontested, so what's the harm, right?
I told myself, and my fiance, my goal was to vote for the "least bad" Republicans. That way, worst case scenario, if they win in the midterms here, at least it'd be the least horrible scenario.
Honestly, though... While I was in the booth choosing between frankly awful candidates, I kept thinking about this sub. I've never gotten turned on from voting before... But here we are.
I wouldn't recommend anybody else do this... But God, maybe I need to spend less time on Reddit.
