Had some friends over today and soaked up a little sunshine. ☀️
I’m having a lot of fun discovering new things about myself. 🦋
We had some friends over yesterday and ended up spending almost the entire afternoon outside. We floated in the pool, laughed until our stomachs hurt, danced around when a good song came on, and just enjoyed being together.
It was one of those days where nobody was watching the clock, and I honestly didn’t want it to end. ☀️🤍
At some point in the day I stretched out to soak up a little more sunshine and realized my bikini bottoms had shifted a bit. Normally I would’ve adjusted them without a second thought.
This time I caught my husband looking over at me with that little smile that tells me he noticed before I did. We didn’t say anything. We didn’t have to.
For a second I thought about fixing them…
…and then I just didn’t. I caught myself wondering if anyone had noticed. Every time I heard someone walk by or felt a glance my way, my heart raced a little faster. I knew there was a chance someone noticed, and it gave me the biggest rush.
Nothing happened. Nobody said a word.
But I definitely enjoyed that feeling a lot more than I ever would’ve expected. I think the part that surprised me most wasn’t whether anyone noticed…it was realizing how much I enjoyed the possibility that they might have. 🦋
