I just got my first doll delivered but I found this piece, what is it used for? I thought at first it was the bolt to connect the head to the body but I found that as well.

So I put my order in about a little over a week ago, and they haven’t sent any photos yet, at what point should I ask for photos to be sent?

Hi all, saving for a doll atm, but I wanted to ask your thoughts on the material of the doll. Been looking more into it and I’ve seen people saying start TPE, Silicone is way better, and STPE is a good middle ground but still prone to tearing.

Question is which would you guys recommend for a first timer. I’ve been told to go for a mid range TPE or possibly a silicone hybrid for what I want in a doll but more information never hurts.

Aside from that, depending on the material might be able to put an order in sooner than I originally thought.

Edit: Thanks all of you for the quick and amazing answers, made up my mind for STPE.
