Was wanting to bring Milla back out, but didn't feel like I wanted her to be A2 again yet so I did something more casual/traditional. She fucking rocks any hair color I put on her I swear, lmao.
Overall I think Milla is the more flexible head between her and Hana. Milla can pull off blonde, black, ginger, white..etc but she can't pull off the gorgeous Japanese/Asian girl look that Hana does!
However Hana doesn't really work as A2 for me, but Milla does! So they both get plenty of love and attention.
Found an old top in a bag of clothes that was stored away for years and thought I'd try it out on her. It works really well imo 😍

made a quick little backdrop out of some 3/4 inch pvc pipe and a king size bedsheet. Turned out better than I thought it would.
I was in the mood to break out the 60 inch Demeter wig and put it on her tonight so that's what I did.

A few days ago I got a wig for my doll Milla's A2 cosplay and figured that would be it. Project complete. Nope! After a few days I realized I wasn't satisfied with the warm white color, and wanted a more pure/paper white. The wig I ended up sacrificing was my white Athena wig from Epic Cosplay Wigs.
Was hesitant at first, not only because I HATE cutting any amount off of even a single strand/fiber, but also because there is no "Undo" button, lol. It is also the only white Athena wig that I had (40 inches long, 15 inch bangs, very thick..etc).
Had to sacrifice some of the 40 inch length on both sides to help make up the "fringe" on the sides of her face, but I think it turned out really well. Maybe I will try to refine the sides so that it's more "messy" and authentic but I am SATISFIED with the shape and color for now.
This also made me realize how much time and money I have invested "playing dress up" with her vs actually using her for her original purpose, lol.
Got the desk because my old one had much less "foot space" underneath because it had this sort of platform at the bottom with a rounded out half "O" shape where a desk chair could easily slide into, but it wasn't as long as this desk is, and it had a "second level" at the back half of the desk where the back half of the "main" part was underneath. It was good for putting a keyboard and mouse under and getting your elbows all the way on the desk, but I definitely couldn't do this with it.
The weird bottom part/base of the desk (it was also on wheels) meant that my chair was fighting for space with the chair that I set my doll in when I tried to have her pulled up to the desk beside me.
So I got it for two reasons: longer desk = more space so I can move my PC to the top, and no bottom "base" means there's no more fighting for "foot space" when trying to put her in the chair next to me.
I decided to keep Milla (head that came with my doll originally) as the "fantasy character" girl and Hana (brown eyes and dark brown hair) as my "Japanese/Korean doll" girl. Unfortunately they have to share a body because managing two dolls at once is not something I want to do right now, lmao.
Here's a little "from start to finish" of what she looked like with her factory wig, then with the bangs brushed down, then after the first trim and finally to the refining/completed stage.
I don't really know what this style is called, but I think I'm happy with how she looks. Got a pair of dark brown eyes on the way to swap out with her current blue eyes, and I think she'll look perfect then!
I can always just buy a wig that is already styled *professionally* in this way in the future if I change my mind, lmao.

It's not perfect, the outfit is a big big in some areas, but it's surprisingly close enough as is, and I am pretty happy with how it all came together.
I also threw on the blindfold/"visor" I made because I like how it looks combined with the white wig.

Story time:
Initially I set out to have the outfit custom tailored with Fine Love Dolls since I found that they did that..but that turned out to be a fucking nightmare of radio silence for over a month and multiple attempts to contact them. They only bothered to respond once I threatened to take the matter to PayPal and dispute it (since I had paid through PayPal). They were sure happy to get back to me then, telling me it was "almost done(TM)" and will "confirm shortly"..waited about another week after that and nothing, lmfao. So I just opened a case with PayPal and instantly got my $199 back after opening the case..like it was just automatically approved, lmfao.
Sexdolls-shop on the other hand..they are worth their fucking weight in GOLD. I was already emailing them about the custom head to match my doll's skin tone (will get to that in a bit) and they just straight up pulled up an image of the outfit, sent me an invoice, and that was that.
Now for the doll head.. I had reached out to SDS asking if it would be possible to identify my doll's skin tone so I could get a head that matched it, provided them the link to the doll I bought, my order receipt..etc. They got in touch with the factory (doll is Aibei) and I basically just browsed as many Aibei dolls as I could find until I found one that had a face I liked. Once I did that I sent a screenshot of the page to SDS, and they organized everything with Aibei and they made this existing face (with blue eyes instead of brown) in the same skin tone as my doll.

Overall, once I fucking ditched Fine Love Dolls everything went completely smooth, and I can see why Sexdolls-shop has the legendary reputation that they have, haha.

The white wig I bought this past Sunday arrived today/yesterday (Friday 5/8/26), so I was excited to try it out on my girl Milla to see how it looked. I fully intend on buying her a full, legit costume once I've saved up enough on the side for it, but for now...
Here is my attempt at making her look like some kind of hybrid between A2 and 2B since I don't have a costume of either of them for her yet 😭😭 (please be kind to me, I've never attempted this kind of thing before)
The only thing I could try to recreate is 2B's mask/blindfold and A2's crop top.

I absolutely love the peach blonde, ash blonde, light brown and ginger wigs that I've bought recently, as well as the black wigs that I've put on her, but honestly, I think classic natural blonde is by far my favorite color on her!
Side note - I also recently ordered a white Athena (wig in the pics above) for her for a sort of "Nier Automata A2" cosplay.
