I don’t usually post but this actually pisses me off. I’m a veteran and I’ve been dealing with chronic pain ever since my time in service. It’s constant. Not “take an ibuprofen and move on” pain but every day pain that doesn’t go away.
I went through everything they tell you to do prescriptions, therapy, different meds and either did nothing or made me feel like a zombie. None of it gave me my life back it just numbed me out or didn’t work at all.
The only thing that actually helped me function like a normal person again was 7oh. It didn’t mess me up it just took enough of the pain away so I could move, think and get through the day without feeling crushed.
And now they want to take that away too? For what? What’s the plan here? Send people like me back to stuff that didn’t work or made things worse? Just deal with it? Why is it always straight to banning instead of regulating it like normal? Testing, labeling, age limits, fine but just ripping it away from people who actually rely on it?
It’s fucking insane. People who actually rely on this are just getting ignored while decisions get made by people who have no idea what it’s like to live like this.
If this gets banned, what are we supposed to do?
