Okay, this is totally a brag and I don’t care. 😂

Everyone is always asking when ladies and couples will be at the venues.

Well, yesterday (Monday 22 June), my partner and I (20F/22M) went to Flamingos at around 7:15pm. About 30 minutes later, we did a walk around and there was us plus THREE other M/F couples in the venue… and not a single solo guy.

Absolutely wild.

Just goes to show—you really never know who’s going to turn up on any given night. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it’s about time I wrote my review for Flamingo.

I missed opening night, but I went on both Monday and Wednesday this week and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Monday was my first visit. I didn’t play, but I met people, explored the venue, and enjoyed the atmosphere enough that it made me want to come back on Wednesday.

Wednesday was a lot of fun. I was there from 6:30pm until close at midnight.

It’s a lovely venue — very clean, of course, because it’s brand new, but also really well styled. They’ve absolutely nailed the theme and atmosphere.

When you arrive, you need to be buzzed in through the gate, which I personally liked because it adds an extra level of security. There’s also plenty of parking nearby, and the entrance to the venue is clear if you are looking for it.

Once inside, there’s a lobby/foyer area where you pay. Tea and coffee are available, and soft drinks are available for purchase. There’s also a large outdoor patio area for smoking.

As you head further in, there’s a very large cinema room with four or five couches, some glory holes, and a huge 100-inch TV.

Also on the ground floor are the Czech glory holes and the lockers. Upstairs there’s a cage at the top of the stairs, bathrooms with showers, a theatre room, more traditional glory holes, a BDSM room, and their private hire hotel-style rooms.

Overall, the venue is smaller than I expected, but I’m still happy with the space. The owners and staff have been lovely to talk to — they’re open to suggestions and acknowledge that the venue isn’t fully finished yet. They’ve spoken a lot about future plans and improvements, so I’m interested to see how receptive they are to feedback over time and whether those ideas get implemented.

So far though, I’ve genuinely enjoyed chatting with them on both visits.

Because I went on weeknights, it was fairly quiet — especially compared to the saunas or OSS, if that’s what you’re used to. To me, it had more of a Hush-style crowd and atmosphere, though I do anticipate it building a steadier flow of people as time goes on.

I’m not really going to comment too much on the crowd itself because that’s always variable and I don’t have a crystal ball.

I know many people are concerned about the phone policy. Yes, you are allowed to have your phone with you throughout the entire venue. I personally haven’t had any issues so far, but it also hasn’t been open for very long yet.

Overall, I do recommend it. It feels safe, and as a woman I feel comfortable attending alone. I’m also really excited to finally have a venue that is open to all genders every day.

Unfortunately I missed the grand opening of Flamingos on Saturday but I’m desperate to see the venue!
