I've always been self-conscious about my body, especially growing up in a girl's school where someone's body was often the easiest thing to target. It didn't help that I had a tonne of anxiety in relation to others and often over thinked (overthought?) a lot of stuff. Nonetheless I kinda saw this body as a fleshly vessel meant to do something for me, rather than something I had to constantly coddle and fret over. After all, our bodies are merely vessels for our consciousness, and without them we'd be nothing. All the more we have to look after them and make sure they're functioning well!

I'm happy with my body and what it does for me, everything else is mere perception and can take second place to its main purpose.
