6 week update !!

I’m writing this like it’s my biggest accomplishment 😂, but honestly, it kind of is. Recovery has been such a roller coaster, especially during the first 6 weeks. My results still aren’t final, and I’m hoping they’ll settle even more by week 8.
To all the girls who have commented on my posts—thank you. You’ve made this journey so much easier mentally. If you’re comparing yourself to photos online, remember that so many women don’t post their recovery. Everyone heals differently, so don’t base your expectations on the few results you see.
I also want to be honest: I had sex at week 4, and I swelled up afterward. Thankfully, I don’t think it affected my results. I still recommend waiting the full 6 weeks if you can, but if you didn’t, don’t automatically assume you’ve ruined your outcome.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I’ve been through all the ups and downs, and you can look through my previous posts to see how my healing progressed. I hope this helps someone feel a little less alone. ❤️

First two pics are week 6. Just w and w/o flash !!!

I got a labiaplasty (minora), CHR, clitoropexy, clitoral glans reduction.

Week 4.5 so discouraged

I just am so frustrated that with why my progress is so slow. I try not to look at it or take pics but I can’t help compare my results with everyone on here. Not even their week 1 looks like how I am rn.

Sex on week 4

Ladies don’t get mad at me. I had sex week 4 yesterday and it was soooo painful. It was sooo dry and I woke up w it swollen and sensitive. Has anyone had sex early too? Similar experience?? I’m not having sex again anytime soon bc of this.

He wasn’t able to even thrust it was mostly just in there and that hurt so much. If you’re thinking about having sex think again. At least for someone like me who’s progress is not that good to begin with.

Did I set back my progress more ??

4 weeks PO- labiaplasty, clitoropexy, clitoral glans reduction

I’ve come to terms that my progress is much slower than other people. It’s taking a toll on me mentally but I’m trying to stay positive that in time I can go back to do normal activities.

Very little progress

I’m on week three and 4 days and it’s still so swollen. I’m not in pain, but it still feels uncomfortable to wear certain underwear and anything tight like jeans or even leggings. I feel like my stitches are not dissolving. I’m just worried it’s going to stick out this much. Does anyone have a similar experience to me? I’m feeling very down about my progress compared to a lot on here.

The last picture is what it looks like when my legs are closed and the first picture is with my leg spread open.

Week 2 update.

I spoke with my surgeon (who is out of state for me) I got this done in Texas and I’m from CA.

She told me she highly recommends I get the sutures removed for less scarring. I wasn’t planning on getting them removed because I don’t have the funds to do that. I already paid for the flight the stay and the surgery itself in Texas and can’t afford to remove the sutures now. I was thinking that people don’t even remove them and their results look great.

Hoping to get some advice on what I should do and if my results look promising.

Day 12

I wanted to show my progress. I would like some genuine honesty if it’s looking better. I know I’m a slow healer but I appreciate the words of encouragement. I’m no longer icing bc I don’t think it’s helping or doing much atp. I am still taking arnica and on my last day of antibiotics.

How soon did you have s*x after surgery?

I am not even on week 2 yet and have no intentions of having sex anytime soon. I know the general time everyone is advised is 6 weeks but how long did you girls wait ? Was it painful? Did it make it swell up?

No progress in days

I made a previous post but I have not had any progress from day 5 to now day 9. Maybe the angle I took appears better on day 9 I can assure you it’s stayed the same. The swelling is literally the same. Is hurts to walk still, drive, sleep, bend. I know im a slow healer but does anyone have any tips. I let my surgeon know and she put me on antibiotics bc I do have a fever. The swelling is mostly on one side. Please help I am desperate. I have been icing but atp it’s doing nothing for me.

Day 6: Labiaplasty (labia minora, clitoral hood reduction, Clitoropexy), Glans Reduction

I found this surgeon through Reddit, so I wanted to share my experience because reading other people’s posts genuinely helped me during research.

They gave me a quote pretty quickly, 6k, but you do need to stay on top of communication and ask questions. The quote is valid for 90 days, and surgery dates were starting around 2 months out when I booked. You leave a deposit to secure your date.

I was flying out of state because I couldn’t find surgeons in California offering clitoropexy, clitoral hood reduction, labiaplasty, and clitoral glans reduction together for a reasonable price. They also offer medical transport after surgery which helped a LOT since I traveled alone. Everyone from the driver to the staff and doctor was incredibly kind.

PRE-OP:
The day before surgery they explain aftercare and prescribe:
pain meds- oxycodone , Xanax, nausea medication, numbing cream (put before surgery only)

SURGERY DAY:
They gave me slippers, a weighted blanket, lip gloss, a sleep mask, and 1 ice pack which I thought was super sweet. Took 2.5-3 hrs for me. Local anesthesia.

Bring thick maxi pads you bleed a lot the first day.
Right after surgery the pain honestly wasn’t horrible yet — more stinging and discomfort — but walking normally was impossible. Waddling hurt less. Real pain comes on day 2 and on. I started my period day after surgery. FML

RECOVERY:
I HIGHLY recommend:
4 ice packs cause they need to be on rotation honeyyyy, loose clothes, stool softeners/Milk of Magnesia. I didn’t buy, was constipated, chugged half a bottle a day later, had super bad watery diarrhea nonstop made things worse. Get unscented soap, thick pads, DONUT PILLOW. I also recommend buying an angled peri bottle from Amazon because it made peeing way easier.

I also used Arnica and bacitracin (approved by my RN later in healing)

POST OP:
Was next day for me. Removed stitches (blue) which were made to control bleeding. Was trembling with pain.

Day 3 mentally was rough. You genuinely think “when will this get better?” but that feeling is normal.

Traveling absolutely made my swelling and pain worse. Sitting/walking in the airport for hours set me back badly.

I’m currently on day 6 and recovery honestly comes in waves. You start feeling way better, then overdo it because you think you’re okay, and suddenly the pain/swelling comes back again real bad. When I tell youuuu. The hardest pain for me has mostly been around the clitoral area, not necessarily the labia itself.

Overall though, despite the discomfort, I’m still happy I did it and excited to see the healed results. I have PCOS w clit enlargement especially when stimulated/arousal it got engorged. This was my dream surgery. Hope I heal quickly to show final results. dm if you have questions.
