So for background, I know this looks crazy, and I know that’s normal.

I have a heart condition where I couldn’t use the epinephrine lidocaine so they gave me regular numbing which kept wearing off, which meant he had to keep injecting more in so it was very, very swollen after the surgery and today too.

As far as the stitches up top, I had a lot, and I mean a lot of clitoral hood so he had to remove all that as well I’m hoping those stitches clear up easy, but we’ll see.

Other than that, I’m curious about that left side lower part where it looks like my labia majora is stitched in as well. I’m not sure if that’s exactly the case but it looks odd.

Edit: looking into it I think it’s an anchor stitch for that right side that needed extra care. I have a follow up in three weeks I’ll ask about it

So after knocking out from some meds I’m up and awake! 33yo/f finally got the surgery of my dreams.

Did local anesthesia and it was unfortunately painful cause it kept wearing off. He had to put so much numbing in it I look swollen and ya’ll the end result looks CRAZY. I don’t wanna post a picture cause it really looks wild— I laughed when I saw it cause I was like wtf am I looking at?!

He said when swelling goes down it’ll be easier to see the vision, but right now it looks like a dang horror show lol I fully expected this and am not freaking out.

But saying that, just wanna get an insight/questions on a few things:

Non infection discharge— seems like I’m getting normal discharge— no smell, color, just ole regular discharge. Normal after something like this?
Showering. Should I use soap, basic dove sensitive bar? And if so should I just lightly put it on then rinse off?
How long did bleeding last for? I’m spotting right now of course but will it be for days? Weeks?
