Mike had always been close with his mother. They had a fantastic relationship, and are two peas of the same pod.

They would often banter, playfully tease one another, even lightly flirt in an attempt to gross the other out. They share the same music taste, often going to concerts together. They love the same movies. They would chat for hours, text nearly every day and confide in each other their most hidden secrets.

Mike's father was often jealous. Which was a point of contention for them all. His mother would always palm off any criticism that they were too close. They were mother and son. Of course they were close.

Admittedly they were maybe \*too\* close at times. Often commenting on each other's bodies, complimenting outfits in ways that were maybe \*too\* forward for a Mother and her son.

Of course that was only what he heard. When he was out of ear shot, he'd often tease her for her fat ass taking up too much room in the kitchen. Things no son should say to his mother. Of course, she could come and stay with Mike in his apartment in the city. A small vacation away from her husband, connecting with her son once more.

But now, absence makes the heart grow fonder. And maybe this little visit for a week will turn their relationship upside down as a Mother and Son finally let those feelings come to ahead, locked away on the 17th floor of an apartment downtown.
