(M4F) Putting out before an arranged marriage
(Based on a prompt I saw a while back)
With how society expected women to get married by 24, it was difficult when the years started to stack up. The list of suitors would quickly shrink, until there was virtually nobody; at least without some covert forms of dowry. It was easier for wealthier families, for flashy weddings were still quite desirable. On the other hand, financial instability further reduced the odds. So when a 26 years old Ruchi was on the lookout for a potential husband, the matches she was suggested could be counted on a single hand, and they all had various demands that were borderline impossible to meet.
Hailing from humble roots, the family couldn't even afford a flashy wedding, to say nothing of all the extravagant additions that some of them demanded. As time went by, they could feel derisive stares of nosy colony aunties, probably judging them for not even being able to fix a marriage. Ruchi herself was also under scrutiny, and the additional pressure made her desperate.
As a result, she would be extremely agreeable in the marriage "interviews", often agreeing to conditions like being a stay at home mother, or not visiting back home after marriage and so on, but even agreeing to these wasn't enough. There was always a talk of finances, and things would break off after the would-be grooms realised she wouldn't be giving anything monetary. A few months passed in the manner, with the family's desperation growing. The parents would constantly coach Ruchi to agree to any demands as long as it wasn't money related, and that being a homemaker wouldn't be so bad.
Around this time, the parents managed to find another potential groom. Rahul was 25, and although he wasn't rich, he was self-sufficient. As the talks progressed, he was very clear on there being no financial obligations in his expectations. This was huge for Ruchi's parents. Although he didn't seem very serious about the whole affair, this was almost like the last chance for them. They kept telling Ruchi to just agree to whatever he expected, and to get the marriage done.
Rahul himself wasn't very interested in the marriage, but was simply playing along because his parents kept pestering him. Although, seeing how agreeable and desperate Ruchi seemed, the guy decided to take advantage of it. During one of their private meetings, he kept talking about how he didn't have any financial expectations, which was very important to Ruchi. But ge also mentioned how he wanted to be with someone who was compatible. Ruchi tried her best to be as agreeable as possible, which was when he mentioned how important sexual compatibility was for him. He didn't want to marry only to find out they weren't on the same page at all, and that he wanted to first see if they would be a good match.
This came as a huge shock to Ruchi, who herself didn't have a lot of experience. She pushed back at the idea, but his mention of maybe breaking things off there caused her to be horrified. In the end, due to how desperate the situation was, Ruchi could only try her best to be agreeable here.
Hey there, I'm looking to play out a scenario revolving around a 26-27 years old woman and a 25-26 years old guy. The guy wouldn't be very interested in the prospect of marriage, and would simply be playing along, while the woman and her family ve desperate for it to happen. The guy would take advantage of the situation, by trying to get some action before anything was even finalized, and the girl would be too conflicted and in a pinch to flat out refuse. She would try to dissuade him, but talks of breaking things off would scare her.
I want to play as the guy here, and looking for someone to play as the girl.
