Advice for Doll Stuck in Customs

My sales rep says my doll is stuck in US Customs, and offers no way to investigate the situation. Who has experienced a similar delay in the delivery process?

I ordered a 155J (body only) direct from IL Doll in March. I approved factory videos on 3/30. IL Doll said the shipment arrived at US Customs LAX on 4/8, six weeks ago. I’ve asked for an update every week or so, and the IL Doll said it was the freight forwarders responsibility, and that if there were fees due, the forwarder would pay it.

My messages to IL Doll have become more demanding, as I’m worried the doll will be returned to China, or get deformed due to improper storage. IL Doll sent me screenshots of some kind of status, but they don’t mean much to me.

Anyone have any advice? I can’t figure out how to ask Customs about it, IL Doll hasn’t told me the name of the forwarder, and hasn’t responded in a couple days.
