Hey everyone, the question is simple, can adding lenght work to an effective girth work hinder progress or moving you back?
I've had good progress on my girth with pumping only (+5mm in about 10wks) but since I added manuals I stalled and started to go backwards, I'm not confident enough to say my lenght routine is effective since I introduced it about 2 wks ago, I can get 2% strain at the end of my lenght part of the workout but I didn't see any other metrics improve and my girth went down 2mm in these two weeks, plus reaching 4% expansion is harder now
Program pre manuals:
Frequency: every other day
5min heat
3min bundled stretches or semi bends
1min warmup at low pressure (about 10Kpa=3inHg)
4 sets of 5 min interval pumping (1min vacuum, release pressure and immediately go up) between 16kpa and 20kpa depending on expansion progress the days after
1/2mins edging between sets
With manuals looks pretty much the same but I
Added:
Straight out or down stretches after the 3 min bundled stretches for 20 mins divided in two 10 mins macro set with 2 mins rest in between, the 10 mins are divided in multiple micro sets of 25 sec to keep blood in my pp and prevent bruises
5mins of extra interval pumping to reach proper expansion
What do you think is wrong or I can try to change the situation? Adding frequency in the past weeks just seemed to be worse than training with rest days in between
