It’s been a while since I awakened and started walking my path once more, the path of the Tenno, helping those in need throughout the Origin system.

During my adventures, I’ve met many people, made friends, and amassed a vast arsenal, but above all, I’ve discovered (sometimes re-discovered) hidden truths.

A clear example is the origin of the Warframes, created from unwilling human, most of the times as a punishment; modified, experimented on, and scanned to turn them into blueprints to be replicated. By now, nothing remains of the originals, or all traces of them have been lost, except for one, whom I encountered by chance and who, for the moment, walks my path as an “ally”.

Wanting to truly understand what (or who) I had been fighting with, I started studying the Warframes and their blueprints, in a hopeless attempt to find a trace, if not of who they were before, then at least of a “personality”. If my “ally” managed to regain sentience, then it’s possible that other Warframes might have one or could acquire one, right?

After much study, I finally found it: a biological limiter that restricts brain functions, defined in the blueprints as the “Δ Limiter”, which is “supposed” to help control autonomous motor functions. I decided to take one of my Warframes and remove the “Δ Limiter”, hoping I was right and that I wouldn’t create an uncontrollable beast.

If you’ve read this far, you probably have a good idea of what I’m aiming for with this RP.
To transform what was once relegated to being a weapon into something more, something alive that has a right to exist, to think, to be.
Also, I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of a character who has lived for a long time but has only recently gained sentience. How might such a creature reason? How will it approach feelings and emotions?
As for the Warframes, and so what you will be roleplaying if you are interested in this RP, I have a couple of key points to follow:

• Female Warframes only.
  • I accept female versions of male and non-binary Warframes
  • EQUINOX CLARIFICATION: Equinox has two forms in-game, a masculine and a feminine one, but both are stated by the creators to be female. https://wiki.warframe.com/w/Equinox#Trivia
• I’d like the idea of having each person play a different Warframe.
  • If you want, you can play more than one warframe.
    • But we’ll have to talk about it a bit more
  • I consider the Prime versions to be distinct from the base versions.
  • I consider the Umbra versions to be distinct from the base versions.
    • Even if they aren’t canon or officially released.
    • Obviously, since the Umbra versions are the originals, they’ll necessarily have a different starter than the base ones; one that’s more similar to the in-game story mission for Excalibur Umbra.
    • In case you didn’t get it, my ally is the female variant of Excalibur Umbra.
  • I consider Skins to be variants of the Warframe, and therefore they occupy a separate slot
    • Helms alone aren’t enough to count as different Skins and thus variants.
  • I can also accept Fanframes.
    • In that case, a reference image would be appreciated.
    • If not available, rather than AI-generated refs, I’d prefer detailed descriptions or “ugly” but real sketches done by you. (I still recommend commissioning a drawing; the community is full of talented artists.)
