This was inspired by a few different posts I've seen here and in other subs about the delightful idea of a Goblin Knight turning a contact into his new mount!

Graz "Quickhand" Lem watched the door of the inn as he sipped at his drink and kept a wary eye out, scanning the faces of patrons of the Lucky Gryphon inn, alert for any that might be considering taking offense to a goblin being in such an upstanding establishment as this one. A few curious or suspicious glances were all he got, with even the boldest deciding the matter not worth the effort when they saw the intensity in his strange silver eyes and the obviously magical blade at his hip, the ruby in its pommel offering a faint glow. Though some of his kin had made their way into towns and cities across the land, there was still far more of his kin running in the wild and dark places of the world ravaging and raiding their way through life. It didn’t help that those in the cities tended to stick close together in their own isolated neighborhoods and collectives, nor that the parts of the town surrounding such enclaves tended to experience….elevated…rates of crime of an assorted variety. Still, he wasn’t the kind of goblin to let such a reputation hold him back, especially since he often contributed to that reputation himself, and so he had made a name of sorts for himself as a warrior, spy and informant. Several days ago though he'd gotten a message passed along through his contacts that someone important was looking for an expert for some kind of mission involving some of his kin, though he personally suspected they were looking for someone they could blame for whatever had happened, but the sizable upfront payment just for taking the meeting had washed away the bulk of his concerns. The so-called client had picked the Lucky Gryphon as the meeting place which boded well for their credibility even if it wasn’t the shifty hole in the wall establishment he preferred when first meeting a new person.

His eyes flicked toward the door when it opened once more, and he couldn't help the way his eyebrows rose when he caught sight of the newcomer. He'd been given a description of who he was supposed to meet but he hadn't expected the person he now saw striding across the tavern floor toward him “You are Graz Lem are you not?” the woman asked in an authoritative tone that clearly didn’t hear the word “No” often.

As I said above this is by no means my original idea, merely my spin on a series of prompts that I thought had some interesting promise!

To start off, I do prefer to move to Discord if we decide that we are a mutually good fit as writing partners.

Now, what I'm looking for is a partner who's looking to help build out a fun, interesting, lewd story set in a fantasy world! I'm picturing a classic homage of DnD/Pathfinder/Fantasy races (Dwarves, Elves, Tieflings, Beastfolk, etc!), put into our own world or if you're a fellow Critter we could even set it in the world of Exandria if that tickles your fancy!

I would consider myself a semi-literate writer, and all I ask is that you give me something to work with when you make a post and that it's not an impenetrable mess to try and decipher. Also send me your favorite fruit as a password so I know you've read this. I don't have a hard-set minimum so long as the scene is being advanced meaningfully with each post.

For this prompt you could play Graz (or your own goblin character), the woman coming to meet him, or you could take on the GM role if you were feeling the vibe. We can discuss who your character is in more detail and figure out exactly why they've come here to the Lucky Gryphon.
