I was recently re-watching The Familiar of Zero and couldn't stop thinking about Louise and Henrietta. Their relationship, shared history, and emotional chemistry felt ten times better and more meaningful than any of the romantic dynamics Louise had with Saito. It felt like a massive missed opportunity for a great Girls' Love storyline just to stick to a standard harem/straight romance formula.What other anime do you feel completely missed the mark by ignoring a beautifully set up female duo in favor of a mediocre straight pairing? Which characters deserved to end up together instead?
