Bad Dragon Small/Soft Cole Review
I wasn't initially going to do this review since...dog models are a dime a dozen, what more can really be said about them? But I had a couple people specifically ask me for this so....this ones for you guys! Haha
back in the day, I had a small/medium Cole that I did actually rather like...except for the fact that the surface texture was pretty rough and I happen to be unfortunately one of those people who is really sensitive to that even with a lot of lube. :( I did end up selling him a long time ago after a lot of crying (He was a very near to my heart and expensive custom afterall)
That being said, I was overjoyed when BD announced that they were going to be giving him a revamp. As a disclaimer, I don't normally like canine style toys. There are lot of little things that have to line up right for them to work for me, and most of them miss the mark. Cole is special in that way and I'll tell you why.
In Use (vaginal):
So, I don't know about anyone else, but for me, I can't finish by just sitting on a toy, and I don't like using wands or vibrators of any kind. I need motion friction to be able to get off so the way I use knotted toys is by using the shaft first and then popping the knot in right as I'm about to orgasm to send me over and also to clench around during my orgasm. After that is when I like to thrust more with the actual knot itself.
So naturally, that means that I need enough length in the shaft to be somewhat practical for use on it's own, but not too much where it makes fully knotting the toy uncomfortable. Austin was so close to being ideal. He also had the bonus of having some ribbed texture on the shaft to make thrusting even more fun than your usual run of the mill canine toys, but when it came time to fully knot him, he was too long.
Diego is another one that was very close to being perfect. The swell in his shaft also made thrusting with him a lot more fun than most other dog models, however that tiny little nub at his tip kinda has a habit of honing in at my cervix in an unpleasant way. (But sometimes its fine? idk, how or why but I have a love hate relationship)
And then most other canine models have too thin of a shaft to really make heavy thrusting worth it (think Rex and Razor) so I just haven't been able to hop on the canine fanatic bandwagon with everyone else.
Cue Cole, the absolute best boy, and goldilocks for my rather specific needs.
((possible TMI warning)) Cole's shaft is pretty thick relative to his knot size. More so than most generic canine toys. I am able to thrust with it and actually get aroused. The smooth surface finish plus the gentle tapering of the knot means that I'm slowly opening up more and more as I get closer to climaxing. I push the knot in in full as I reach the edge and when it comes, my body clamps down over the knot and my orgasm is prolonged and dragged out due to the sudden influx of girth. That's honestly the most appealing part about knots for me, their ability to increase the duration of my orgasm.
And speaking of Cole's knot, I find that for me, it hits better. For some reason, wide knots, such as KVD's Malikye, BD's retired Elden and even Austin just feel so much better to me than something more sphere shaped or clover shaped. Diego's knot isn't my favorite shape, Bruiser's knot was uncomfortable for me and so was Qarl's for example. I like girth that presses more to the sides and leaves my front wall alone. This, for me, is another reason why Cole is a worthwhile addition, and a hidden gem over Razor for me.
Cole's knot also doesn't tie super tightly. This is probably a drawback to most people and...valid. But again, I can't get off by just sitting on toys. I need a knot that has some taper to it so I can actually thrust with it once I'm all warmed up and had my first orgasm, and Cole does not disappoint on this front at all either. The knot is wide enough to not fully pop out, but it's tapered on the back end enough where I still have plenty of room to thrust with and feel that girth start to pull at and open up my lips, and then get buried in deep repeatedly. No accidentally popping out, I still have to actively decide when I'm done and give it a definitive tug to release him from me.
But I mean, all that being said, if you have Razor and you love him then, yeah there really is no reason to pick up Cole.
However if you are like me, and you wish there was just a little more oomph in the shaft, or the knot shape isn't hitting your best spots as much as you like, then giving Cole a chance could certainly be worth your time. They are similar to each other, but just different enough to be ideal for different styles of play IMHO.
All in all, I give Cole an 8/10
