For quite some time now, I've been feeling like grabbing a shovel every now and then and digging little holes to plant delicate flowers—just so I can tease them a bit with a few tickles.

Up until now, the way I'd built my templates worked perfectly for static images. But the thought of making one of my animations never even crossed my mind, because the whole template was simply enormous... Then it hit me—the solution was ridiculously obvious: If the entire garden won't fit into an animation, why not get rid of all the extra dirt and plant the little flower in a flowerpot instead? ☺️

Anyway, I don't want to bore you with every cut we're going to have to make to keep the show alive. Suffice it to say that, due to a combination of budgetary concerns and copyright issues, we've even had to get rid of the laugh track.

Yes, yes, I know. Once again, I seem to have "forgotten" to include anyone in the animation whose job is to stop the tickle box, or even to make the controls and emergency stop button easier for its occupant to reach... But honestly, where would the fun be in that?

“Uh… just a moment…” said the UN ambassador as she noticed the strange device locking up completely, while her counterparts from the Unified Zartal Empire began undoing the laces of her footwear. “Hey, what is this...? The alien looked up after removing her shoe.

“I don’t know! Maybe I offended someone with a greeting, or I sat where I shouldn’t have… We can sort it out by talking, okay?”

The alien exchanged a glance with his partner, who was beginning to secure each of the ambassador’s toes to the device, before replying:

“You are not being punished. This is part of our first-contact protocol. Don’t worry, we just want to ask you a series of questions—but we need to make sure you are as truthful as possible.”

She tried unsuccessfully to move the foot the alien had already immobilized and swallowed hard.

Remember that feeling in movies when you finally see the villain get what they deserve?

I don’t know if it was the mad scientist outfit, the completely cruel and malicious smirk, or the Frau Engel-style haircut from Wolfenstein that I used as inspiration for the character, but once I had fully rendered Science Demands Sacrifices and took a step back to admire just how perfectly my evil scientist had turned out, I suddenly felt an overwhelming urge to give her a well-deserved taste of her own medicine.

Here she is again — with far fewer delusions of grandeur, and receiving a generous dose of exactly that. 😈😈😈
