Sorry for the newb question. I’ve only ever used cheap pumps - with a permanent rubber attachment to the pump, and a bulb to create vacuum.
I’d like to take it up a notch and get a proper pump with a vacuum gauge, and quick connect couplings so I can detach from the pump while under vacuum.
If you’ve used one of these pumps, can you tell me whether this is the normal way these work, or do they typically lose vacuum when the pump is disconnected?
I’m in Canada, and “frugal”, so trying to keep the cost down as much as I can. I’ve looked at LeLuv, and some other American brands, but the exchange and duty/brokerage fees make buying from US companies super expensive. Any pointers to Amazon.ca links or Canadian e-retailers would be really helpful.
