Set in near future world, a past world or a current [alternative] world.

Every first of the month the town opens up its auction, a day where men and women are put sale. The goods are brought to the circular venue a two story building where downstairs is the storage area and upstairs large open place with seats and in the middle a stage.

At noon when bells ring the auction opens and one by one the goods are brought on stage and sold to the highest bidder. After the auction finishes everyone can pick up their goods at the back.

The Auction opens at 10am, list is given to everyone participating, one of every buyer (if multiple people attend) is allowed to inspect the goods. That is something I always do first, I immediately make my way down to the storage area and look at both the popular options then maybe even more importantly the hidden gems. You probably wonder what the list contains, it has a number for each item, a nickname, physical parameters like hair color, size, age, weight.
