So given the choice between fighting against alien dept slavery, and cooperating with their home's authorities to combat violent crime. They have chosen to save their home from crime until a spaceship capable of orbital flight was ready.

In the meantime, Luna's team has constructed an alright home for themselves in one of the two small tropical regions on Nova Mothallah, to also conduct research and serve as the construction site for their needed spaceship.
