[f4M] Hacked - a cyberpunk RP
In the cyberpunk metropolis of Neombus, technology is far more ubiquitious than even today's culture of everyone carrying around a cell phone. Even the least well off tend to have at least a little bit of augmentation. Full cyberlimbs tend to be reserved for gangsters, enforcers, and street samurai but everyone has at least a neural implant. It lets them interface with the net at all times, record what they see, send and receive messages, and all manners of minor conveniences. Implants can monitor your health and often even tweak hormones or deploy nanites to heal injury. The technology is truly marvelous!
Until it gets hacked.
What happens when the C-suite exec acts like a complete asshole to the IT grunt until he snaps? When the street samurai plugs into a secure network and doesn't notice the virus embedding itself in her system? When the influencer uses some sketchy black market gear or software to look rich and successful? The neural implants give the hacker access to far more than just her nudes. He can change what she sees or hears. Intercept and modify all her messages. Even make her feel things or influence her emotions. It's not mind control, of course. Her mind is entirely her own so he can't simply overwrite her personality. But with so much access and control, will she be able to resist? How long until he's gotten what he wants, whether that's a trained fucktoy or simply to have her life ruined as she sells her body on the street?
