It was a small island with a rocky coast and a very flat interior that led to good farm lands however the coast made things tough. It created an island where even in this modern day people relied on horses and mules instead of cars.

In the center of the island was a farm, it was locally known as an animal “rescue” and more locally known as a disposal place. Animals that came to our farm would be used up and broken, the ones who behaved would become pets and then ones who didn’t would become refuse.

Every month or so we would get a delivery of pets from the surrounding islands and it would be time to see if they were worth anything and have fun breaking them in.

Back in the day I had been a rodeo queen but I got kicked off the circuit when I rode one of the horses to the ground and beat her until she got up like a submissive bitch.
