With rule 5 exceptions have been made if, according to the artist, the character was an adult, however after having been in contact with Reddit's admins its been made clear that if a character appears to be a minor/child/cub/etc, even if the artist states they are an adult, is still not allowed on the website.

As such from now on posts where it looks like a character is a child will be removed even if the artist says otherwise, the admin made it quite clear that if such moderation is not made the subreddit can indeed end up getting banned.

Sources are still required for posting as there can be exceptions where there's simply small characters or ferals, like for example a bunny or otter character being smaller, animals that tend to be smaller in general, or with fantasy creatures like say a pikachu being small to begin with, but if they appear to be very child-like I will have to remove them just to be safe.

I understand that these standards can feel rather vague however since the subreddit can end up getting banned if these measures are not taken I'm left with no other choice.

The rule has been altered to reflect this change, the old rule:

>Any content that depicts minors is not allowed, if one or more characters in the art could reasonably be perceived to be cub please provide a source of the art and name of the artist in the comments so we can confirm they are indeed not child characters.

New rule:

>It is not permitted to post any content that involves minors, cubs or children in any way, even if an artist states a character is an adult if they look like children it is still not allowed to be posted. > >If a character is posted that could be perceived to be a minor/cub/child please provide a link to the content in question so it can be confirmed that the character is in fact an adult and simply just a small species, think for example anthro rat or otter characters which can be portrayed as simply being very small while still being and generally looking like an adult. If a link is not provided your post will be removed.

As with the previous announcement this post will remain up for 1 month after which it will be removed.
