Reddit is such a pain in the ass. I have met amazing characters out here but it’s the people I’ve chatted with for months and grew mentally close to that drive me nuts. You can get such a strong sense of a person from talking to them especially about kink and then lose them one day because they deleted, ghosted, walked away.

I never miss them so that I’m walking around sad, but I realize I cared about them. Realizing you suddenly lose someone to the vapor leaves you hanging. Leaves me hanging. I suppose some think of it as the game that happens out here. I guess I’m freaky enough to play out here but grow attached to minds.

It raises the question of whether it’s healthy to build such poorly connected connections. My guess is it’s not great. But if you had a whatever attitude you might just think they’ll be back if they want to show up.
