Mom's, when did you realise your admiration for your son was more than normal motherly pride?

This also applies to dad's with daughters.

Was there a moment when you realised how you view your son is different than normal? How'd it feel? I remember as my son grew up I started to realise I was noticing he's not just my sweet son but also a beautiful young man. Realising he's attractive and cute. Realising I want him to never leave, no girl would be good enough for him. Realising most mom's probably don't admire their son that way and feel pride for how he's growing up.

Anyone else know the feeling?

If my phone is just full of selfies of my son, would people assume anything?

As my son's grown up my phone has become more and more full of pictures of him. Please we send snaps back and forth occasionally. Would others assume something if they saw all that or just assume it's motherly pride? Especially as he's grown up and the pictures aren't just cute ones but often shirtless ones or similar. Not my fault my boy is my world. But I sometimes wonder what normal people would think.

Me and my son still vacation together.

It's just me and my son at home, so we often hangout and obviously get along well even as he grew up. Recently during school break we went on a road trip together. Just driving around, visiting different towns, spending time together in hotels and beaches and nice places. Honestly quality time is the best type of vacation. Plus hotels are nice, we can share drinks together, share a hotel hot tub, it's the best way to relax. Growing up doesn't mean losing my boy...
