It had taken so much hard work to get to this point, graduating school, saving up to finally be able to open my own therapy practice! Being on the younger side i attracted a fairly young clientele.

Predictably this sent him into another long and droning story about progress and being ones best self. I pretended to take notes in my journal as he rambled but I was simply absently doodling. Being available and doing my duty for my patients. Being such a good listener. So good and doing better each week. I nodded along as he kept going. "Its just so peaceful with you and I feel like the two of us can truly relax around each other."

I did dimly feel proud at this compliment and I smiled softly as I realized I had let go of the journal and was starting to curl up into a comfy ball in my chair listening to him.

I nodded along and smiled as he told me I could let my eyes close. I drifted off to a nice little nap as he kept explaining all sorts of important things....

My stupor was broken as Dale suggested I remove my button up shirt and lay down to get more comfortable. I nodded and wiggled onto my back, staring up at the ceiling as my heavy eyelids worked shut again.
