Solved the shortened spongeosum problem with weighted/downwards tension stretching without having to buy new/special equipment (compared to what I was doing for downwards tension anyway)
As TTT's masterpost explains, there's a bit of an issue with tugging downwards for lengthening foreskin, where the curvature and EQ is worsened by overextending the cavernosum compared to the spongeosum. So, ideally, there'd be a way to consistently stretch forward/up, especially for those of us that already have quite a bit of flexibility already at the base of the shaft (such as myself). I think I've found a way, using shirt stays (I have these) and medical tape, which I'd previously used for downwards tension.
So, basically, I apply the tape in the pattern TTT taught me as usual. But then I hook the two shirt stays together to make one long one (just uses the latching/hook mechanism they have already but chain them together instead of latching them to themselves), bundle up the clips in the back so they're not in the way, and tighten it around my waist like a belt. Then I can use the clip in front on the tape as usual and the pull it forward/up.
How to adjust sizing (see second image):
If the clip strap is too short, you can add more tape to the part that you'd normally clip to, to extend the length from the tape side of the equation
If the clip strap is too long, you can use the other two to wrap around the middle one and kinda hold it down. I do try to get them symmetrical though.
Pros:
- Forward/upwards stretch, which targets the frenulum triangles and spongeosum
- More discreet since the strap is where a belt goes and it's basically flush to the body
- More comfortable than attaching to the legs because it stays more stable regardless of body position
Cons:
- Uhhh. I guess the clips bundled in back is a little annoying? I could cut them off, but I don't want to just yet anyway
- Doesn't really stretch the front part of the foreskin since the limit on tightness is generally gonna be the back. I may recommend doing manuals or sometimes stretching down a little for that part if needed, idk, I've only done this for like a day and a half I'm not quite an expert yet lol
Overall definitely worth it and more comfortable and sustainable for me. I wanted to share this in case anyone else has the same equipment, or finds it more affordable/accessible than other specialized options.
Images are just some sketch diagrams of how to set it up and how it works. Apologies for my handwriting and how rough the art is, I wanted to get it done quickly
