The first problem was the heat.
It was a fucking scorcher out there. The kind of heat that made your skin stick to every thing, but it also had another funny effect-Getting your blood pumping.
The kind of heat that for no damn good reason just makes you want to FUCK like rabbits. Get to breeding before you lose your damn mind. It just so happened that in your apartment complex, every unit was a shitty little place without central air. Units would get HOT and certainly uncomfortable.
The second problem, and a by-product of the heat was the poor electrical grid.
With everyone and their mother using as much of their air conditioner as they could, the grid could barely hold up-resulting in a sudden, catastrophic failure, taking too damn long to fix. Suddenly people have nothing to do and must suffer in heat, but it results in a small apartment fling.

Facing south was a small bachelor unit home to one Mark. A single man, Mark worked a 9-5 office job doing boring work, much to his annoyance but was thankful that he didn't have to be there due to the outage-But annoyed yet again at the fact that there was nothing to do other than read, paint, or relax with regular hobbies. The landlord for the building refused to get a generator set up, quoting he could not afford it.
Devon did however, start to get along with the girl across the hall-He would regularly chat with her while coming or going, small nods there, turning into conversation. The heat made each other realize what they had going on. Wearing less when they would open the door for things-Her in a matching set, himself in boxers with a healthy LUMP in the front. A handsome man, 6'3 with dark brown hair kept buzzed short, a sharp jaw line, and a slim yet fit body. Those damn blue eyes, too.
