My wife’s period is late. We have only had sex once since her last period, and I didn’t even finish. My concern is whether she could still be pregnant from that, or if there could be another reason for the delay. She has been under a lot of stress lately because of her exams, so could that be causing her periods to be late? The issue is that we are only nikkahfied right now, and the rukhsati is scheduled for November. The dates are fixed and the venues are already booked. How can we get an answer for sure? Any tests to be performed? In the event that she is pregnant, what options do we have? Is it possible to get an abortion in Islamabad/Rawalpindi? I’m not worried about moral policing or anything as I have our nikkahnama with me if required. Or would it be better to involve our parents or try to move the rukhsati earlier?
