I just put out v0.4 of my game and I figured this would be a good place to ask for some honest feedback.

It's an adult 2D visual novel, but I'm trying to do something a little different instead of making it completely linear. My idea is to turn it into a small sandbox where you meet new characters through exploration, your karma affects what happens, and some events only show up at certain times.

The project is still pretty early, so I'm more interested in knowing if the direction makes sense than hearing that it needs more content. I already know it does 😅

I also added a little Qix/Gals Panic style minigame this update because I wanted to break up the reading a bit. I'm honestly not sure if it fits or if it's just me thinking it's a cool idea.

If anyone feels like giving it a shot, I'd love to know what your first impression was. Did anything feel boring? Did the pacing work? Did you actually enjoy exploring or were you just clicking through trying to find the next scene?

I've been working on the intro for my game Succubus Island, and I wanted to get some feedback on the art style and presentation.

The comic was illustrated by the amazingly talented Ferbiz, and I'm thinking of doing most of the game's cutscenes in this comic panel style. I feel like it makes the story more dynamic and gives important moments a lot more impact than just using standard VN sprites.

What do you think? Does this style work for you? Would you enjoy seeing more story scenes presented like this?

Sharing some WIP screenshots from my indie game Succubus Island.

In this scene, the Succubus Queen unleashes a curse over the island, slowly corrupting the population and twisting them into lust-driven demons. The corruption doesn’t just affect the body… it changes behavior, instincts, and identity.

Mia ,the protagonist’s sister , is one of the first major characters to get hit by it. I’m still working on the sequence, but I wanted to show how the transformation/corruption progression is shaping up visually and in tone.

I’m aiming for something between visual novel storytelling and animated scene panels, focusing a lot on atmosphere and gradual descent rather than instant transformation.

The game is free for now on Itch.io and Patreon, so if you want to try it or leave feedback on art direction, pacing, or anything else, it’s really appreciated.

Quick update ,Succubus Island 0.4 is dropping ttoday.

It’s a small indie project I’ve been building solo, focused on a succubus queen who curses an island and slowly pushes its inhabitants into corruption and transformation. Still very much a WIP, but I’m trying to improve the atmosphere, pacing, and overall presentation with each update.

This version continues expanding existing routes and adds more progression to the current story content. I’m basically building it step by step as I go, so feedback is really valuable if anyone decides to check it out.

hi guys, working on my indie H-game and ended up organizing characters into “size compatibility tiers” for gameplay purposes

don’t ask how we got here

anyway here’s the roster so far:

• Ruby :tiny menace energy. she might come off as distant or hard to reach, but she’s actually empathetic in a quiet way. she notices more than she shows, and sometimes that softness slips through , a rare moment where she lets her guard down and indulges a bit of unexpected closeness, almost like an impulsive act of kindness she won’t fully admit later.
• Sleenequiet, shy presence on the surface. she comes across as reserved and almost distant at first glance, but underneath there’s a different side she doesn’t fully understand herself. something more provocative, instinctive, and unpredictable that slips through when she least expects it like it’s coming from somewhere even she can’t quite place.
• Lutsy wild, confident presence. she gives off a naturally untamed energy, and she absolutely lives up to it. she’s fully aware of her strengths and the effect she has on others, and that awareness makes her even more unpredictable. there’s a dangerous edge to her personality , not because she seeks trouble, but because she doesn’t always know when to stop once she starts pushing forward.
• The Queen final boss behavior. doesn’t chase, doesn’t negotiate, just exists like the world is built around her. if she looks at you, that’s basically endgame content.

I’ve been working on Version 0.4 of Succubus Island and I wanted to share a few early screenshots from what I’m building right now.

This update is still in development, but the goal is to release it this month if everything goes smoothly.

Right now I’m focusing on expanding systems, improving visuals, and adding new scenes/content, but I’d really love to hear some outside perspective while I’m still in development.
