Hey everyone! I wanted to share my first serious indie game project: Succubus Island, a hentai visual novel made with Pygame.
My long-term goal is to turn it into more of a sandbox-style experience, where you can explore the island and meet different characters depending on the time of day, the areas you visit, and even your Karma , a system I recently implemented.
The VN also has a focus on minigames, which is something I'm experimenting with. I'm curious what you guys think: do minigames add something interesting to an eroge/VN, or do you prefer keeping things focused purely on the story and scenes?

For v0.5, I’m thinking about adding a card mini-game where a character challenges you to a duel. If you beat them, you get a little reward… if you know what i mean 👀
Do you think this is a good idea, or am I just making my life harder for no reason? 😂
The card artwork is just placeholder art for now , I hand-drew them by tracing some stuff I found online, haha. I might replace them with proper artwork in the future.

Buenas , como andan los pibardos, ahora que tengo su atencion queria hacer una pregunta posta jeje, estoy armando otro minijuego para la version 0.5 de mi VN Hentai (un dolor de cabeza tremendo el proceso de hacerlo multiplataforma), en fin , lo que queria preguntar (antes de lanzar un update asi) es si bancan que el arte sean dibujos calcados de reddit pero de mi puño y letra (? (no soy artista y no tengo guita para pagar esos assets , son como 40 cartas ajaj)...
PD: si es similiar a yugioh pero no igual, va con la tematica hentai.
PD2: si pueden bajar el juego gratis , esta en itchio y patreon aunque la version 0.4 por ahora
PD3: estoy tratando de hacer la apk de android pero me genera todos lso dolores de cabeza de rendimiento posibles...alguien me sugirio pasarlo a unity pero esto podria llevar banda de tiempo...ustedes que dicen? sigo con pygame apuntando a PC o busco que sea multiplataforma?
